How do I sign up our facility with VCS?

How fast can we implement the program?

The program can be set up and implemented in 2 hours.  The program is web based and can be launched quickly.  Your reps can begin signing in and out immediately after set up and implementation.

Who pays for the program and what are the fees?

Your suppliers pay an annual fee to be part of the VCS program.  Unlike other programs, they do not pay per hospital.  Additionally, the annual fee ranges from $39 - $149 which is less than most programs.

 If a supplier or representative is already a member of VCS do they have to register or pay again?

No.  Once a vendor has registered with VCS their VCS membership is valid at any hospital that is using the VCS program.  Representatives do not pay per facility.  One annual fee gives the representative a nationwide passport.  Additionally, once a representative registers VCS credentials their company (supplier) at no additional cost. 

Will vendors see our policies?

Yes.  Your facility will have their own unique policies and guidelines and each representative will be able to sign off on those policies.  You may also request unique training or policies that only apply to a small group of your vendors.  i.e.  Asbestos policies, OR policies or Loaner Tray policies.

How many suppliers and representatives are currently being credentialed in the VCS system?

VCS currently credentials thousands of representatives and suppliers.  All of your major suppliers are being credentialed through the VCS program.
